After the extensive remodel, one original item remains. It’s the play house. It is still high off the ground, but is now approached by a sturdy staircase with side rails. The rest of the play areas have fresh new sand, and a soft rubber composite around the perimeter of many items such as the white and blue tug boat and fancy blue spider web climber. Cement paths weave throughout making it easy to negotiate strollers. There is a large sand pit area with a shovel digger and coil rocker. At one end of the playground are a couple of toddler full bucket swings, and all the way on the other end are two big kid swings and a tire swing. In between these two swing areas, are three separate play structures some more challenging than others with monkey bars, rings and slides. This playground accommodates a broad age-range of kids but keep in mind that it can be tricky to keep an eye on children at opposite ends. There is a low sitting wall with decorated tiles and wooden benches to sit on and have a snack. Most of the shade is found on the toddler side. The area is fully fenced in.

Bonus Outside the fence is a charming picnic area, basketball court, barbecue facilities, a small field of grass and shade.

Other Food is very near by. You can either walk or drive to downtown Tiburon for a variety of goodies. Try the Sweden House Bakery and nibble a pastry while watching boats sail by.
