What a find! Our two kids (aged 1 1/2 and 3 1/2) set a new record when they insisted on staying at the playground for over 2 hours. The playground offers a variety of structures and activities to keep kids interested, and we found the parents and other children in attendance to be BY FAR the friendliest in our survey of Marin playgrounds so far, and considerate. The tall shade trees (including redwood groves) are beautiful and keep much of the playground in shade on hot summer days. The "community toys" are very welcome; we're considering leaving some of our own sand toys and trucks at the playground for others to share, in the spirit of the playground. The bathroom could be cleaner but at least there is one available.

We just checked out this playground this past weekend [7/30/06]. I loved it! The toddler structure, unlike many elsewhere, had no parts of it from which my 20 months old could step off into the air. (A number of play structures have openings which would allow a young child to fall off - this one did not!) For the first time, I felt like I didn't have to hover over my little one and could allow him to explore on his own. I also thought the sand was among the cleanest of a number of playgrounds I've checked out. Importantly, it's nicely shaded! I highly recommend it.

sunday.7.16.06 enjoyed a great 9:30 am party for 3 to 6 yr olds. My 1st time here and liked it a lot. The tables in the redwood grove were shaded and well keeped. I,ll be back soon...
