Built on the site of an old train station, this small playground packs in a lot of fun items. It is right on a busy road but is safely fenced in. It offers a good balance of sun, shade and benches. The most endearing feature is a musical hammer chime composed of galvanized steel pipes and coiled ball hammers. Sand and cushioned matting runs under the two toddler full-bucket swings and around the metal and plastic play structure with two plastic slides There is a sand digger and an adorable small play house in which to have your lunch.

This playground has been totally revamped and is way nicer than before. Most of the grounds have been mulched and the sandpit is in a small, well-defined area. Picnic tables have been added under the shade of the large trees and makes it pleasant to sit and sip while watching the little ones.
